Our company designed and coordinated electrode boiler power output increasing from 12 MW to 18 MW. The boiler is used for providing ancillary services. The power output increasing required changes to heat exchanger station, high and low voltage connection and instalation of new circulating pumps.

BFS Industry activities:

  • Feasibility study aiming to find the optimal increased power of the electrode boiler
  • Designing project documentation (mechanical, low voltage, high voltage, civil works)
  • Procurement of services and equipment
  • On-site coordination
  • Delivery of a new terminal for communication with local TSO (CEPS)
  • Software PLC adjustments
  • Commissioning
